been watching the sky lately??

last weekend i spent at vangani, with khagol mandal for observing the sky at night. an astronomical educational session with experienced people giving information about which star constellations, where to see them, how to identify, other rather useful information and a slideshow about mars, expeditions to the mars and rover in action etc...

accompanied by friends who were interested in the event and were ready to bear out the night out in a open ground, daring the chill breeze and warm tea breaks.

pretty interesting stuff if you are keen in learning more about the stars and astronomical stuff. sessions end with a Question and answer slot, where you can field questions about anything astronomy.
